Tanya: Compiler's foreword (p.xii)...in the gates (she'arim) (p.xiv).Learn Mishna by heart, each person according to his capacity, and then while walking in the street, review Mishna from memory; you will thereby merit welcoming Mashiach.
Chassidim must study Chassidus; all chassidim on Mondays, Thursdays, and Shabbat; T'mimim an hour every day. [1]
